La Residenza Antica Roma is a Guest House in the historic center of Rome, located in a strategic position between the Trevi Fountain, Piazza di Spagna, and Via Veneto.
The building, originally constructed in 1594 as an ancient monastery, is now an elegant and welcoming residence, ideal for those who wish to experience the authentic Roman atmosphere.

Thanks to its proximity to the Barberini metro station (Line A), you can reach all of Rome’s main attractions in just a few minutes, including the Colosseum, the Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Square.
In the immediate surroundings, you will also find traditional restaurants, fashion boutiques, and some of the city’s most famous landmarks.

From Termini Station

By Metro:
Take the Metro Line A towards Battistini and get off at the Barberini stop, located about 150 meters from Residenza Antica Roma.

By Bus (ATAC):
There are numerous city bus stops in front of Termini Station.
Lines 492 and 175 directly connect to the Trevi Fountain area and Via del Tritone, just a few steps from our property.

By Taxi:
There is a large taxi rank outside the station. We recommend using only official white taxis, recognizable by the municipal license number displayed.

From Rome Fiumicino Airport “Leonardo da Vinci” (FCO)

By Train – Leonardo Express:
The Leonardo Express train connects Fiumicino Airport directly to Termini Station in about 30 minutes, without any stops.
From Termini, follow the instructions above to reach the Residence by subway, bus, or taxi.

By Taxi:
Official taxis (licensed white taxis) are available outside the arrivals terminal.
The fixed fare to Rome city center is €48, including luggage and up to four passengers.

By Rental Car:
Major car rental companies are available at the airport.
The journey to Rome city center takes approximately 40–50 minutes, depending on traffic.

From Rome Ciampino Airport (CIA)

By COTRAL bus + train:
COTRAL buses depart from the airport to Ciampino Station.
From there, trains to Roma Termini depart approximately every 15 minutes and reach the city center in less than 20 minutes.

By COTRAL bus + subway:
COTRAL buses connect the airport to Anagnina Station (Line A).
From Anagnina, take the subway towards Battistini and get off at the Barberini stop, a short walk from the Residenza.

By taxi:
Official taxis (white, licensed municipal taxis) are available outside the airport.
The fixed fare to Rome city center is €50.

By rental car:
All major car rental companies have offices inside the airport.
The journey to our Guest House in central Rome takes approximately 40 minutes, depending on traffic.
